Oliver Rack /

Oliver Rack is founder of “IOX – Connecting Smart Societies”, an institute for digital transformation and smart societies, and also of the initiative “Open Data Rhein-Neckar for implementing the EU Public Sector information Re-Use Directive. He is commissioned to develop clusters and use cases for open government data use, citizen centric applications, civic tech and participatory design and to provide consultance to public sector executives. He researches democratized technology as case of public welfare as well as needful catalyst for a cultural framework regarding future technologies and societies – wich should be a mission of culture as translator in general.

IOX provides awareness and advice to the administration in matters of smart citizenship and Open Gov Data / PSI Re-Use, who are now taking action. Also IOX is attracting political parties to take action in political process concerning digital society and Open Data. IOX is harvesting, connecting and orchestrating institutions and individuals for collaboration in using or driving Open Data and CivicTech within valorisation clusters.

IOX Institute draws this from years of experience in the political process, the implementation process in the administration and civil society as well as the utilization of data.
Together with representatives from government and civil society, such as industry, research and local citizens IOX institute develops with an interdisciplinary and experienced team of network experts customized processes, stakeholder panels and valorisation clusters for Open Data use.
